Project prototype developments continue for "Ultralight Safety Lighting Poles” used in road traffic applications. The safety lighting poles utilize integrated technology including increased performance parameters, reliability, and eco-efficient production. This project is co-financed with the European Regional Development Fund.
We are pleased to sum up the following project achievements:
- Greater than 400 strength calculations prepared for construction including safety class factors capable of meeting the needs of 10 countries in Europe!
- 2D and 3D drawings prepared for the option of two assembly types, baseplate and embedded poles
- Computer simulations of greater than 100 pole crash events
- A series of experimental crash tests, evaluating pole construction at the moment of impact as well as the safety of vehicle occupants.
